The camping will open at May 1, 2023.

The campsite is closed, everything is stowed away for the winter.
Right now we’re raking leaves (oh yes, a hundred trees drop a lot of leaves). Most of the bushes are already trimmed.
We are also looking forward to the innovations at the entrance. We want to make it new and prettier: let us surprise you.

Until mid-July, there will always be great places available (except for the long weekends of Ascension and Pentecost, it’s best to book). Climbers, outdoor sports enthusiasts, couples, families and small groups of up to 5 people are welcome, even without a reservation. I ask everyone else to contact us first.

We look forward to the next season (from May 1st, 2023).

Welcome to the impressive Gorges du Tarn and Gorges de la Jonte!

A small lovely camping on privileged place; there’s nothing more to say!

Le Rozier in the national park of the Cévennes, the magnificent Gorges du Tarn, the Gorges de la Jonte and the limestone plains (les Causses) are at your disposal… 24/7!

This exceptional region and foremost the village of Le Rozier is the ideal starting and hosting point to explore the nature-paradise – for active nature-enthousiasts: climbing, hiking, canoeing, fishing, biking, speleology, canyoning, paragliding, etc and/or for active explorers: vultures, beavers, birds, flowers and orchids, architectures of many aeras, caves, etc.

The beautiful and exceptional region „Causses et Cévennes“ is registered as UNESCO global heritage site in 2011.

Le Rozier / Peyreleau

In Le Rozier (5 minute walk) you will find restaurants and bars, bakeries, butchers, newspapers and souvenir shops. A small but very convenient supermarket (Spar) open in July and August.

As we are on the border of the Aveyron and the Lozère, we even have two tourist information points. The pages are very nice and with plenty of further informations:

A bath in the Tarn

As a refreshment and relaxation, a cool bath in the Tarn is the best. Two minutes walk from the camping is a nice bathing beach.

Events

In July and August, the region it is very populated,  but on the camping the decenting atmosphere is preserved.

  • ·         On the 14th of July Peyreleau celebrates the national holiday
  • ·         Wednesday evening is the „Marché nocturne (with many local products and souvenirs).
  • ·         On Thursdays there is live music in a bar in the village (tastes, …).
  • ·       at the trout farm you can even grab your own dinner from the water!
  • Detailed information can be obtained from the „office de tourisme„.
